Creative North Demonstration Tent:

Creative North Demonstration Tent:

You will find our Creative North Demonstration tent at the top end of the show
field. Our first demonstration starts at 10.30am and then we have an array of
demonstrations that follow on throughout the day.
We bring to you an array of local organisations, for example:

County Durham Young Farmers Club
is a Youth Organisation, ran by its members for its members. You have to be
between 10 – 28 years and you don’t need to be a farmer to join young farmers.
They have 7 clubs across the County Durham Area, so you can find a club that is local to you. Some of the members will be doing a “Ready Steady Cook” demonstration using local ingredients that they are just given on the day.#

Darlington Beekeepers Association is a friendly group of
people who get together to promote the craft of beekeeping.
We also provide our members the education, training and
support needed to gain the most from this fascinating hobby.
The other main function of the Association is to inform the wider public about the important role that the honey bee (Apis Mellifera) plays in our natural environment. We also promote the protection of that environment.
Come along on show day to say hello, find out what threats are there to UK
bees, what we can do to help, and see our bees in our observation hive. There will also be honey for sale and our members will be happy to ask any bee related
questions!

Dogs

Dogs

Dogs are welcome to Sedgefield Show, we ask that they are kept on a short lead at all times and any mess it picked up.

Due to the nature of our exhibits, we politely ask that dogs remain outside of the home and handicraft tent.
